Rimmel 25hr Lasting Finish: Review

20:18

I recently switched my foundation from Rimmel Match Perfection to Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 hour Nude and thought I'd review it. I don't usually post reviews but I wanted to do something different and now we're having cold weather in the UK, it might be helpful to people who want to try a new foundation.

First of all, the packaging is pretty much the same as Rimmel's other affordable foundations. I'm not sure why this one is re-branded as 'Nude', I'm pretty sure the only difference is that this bottle has a white lid as opposed to a red one.

The smell of Rimmel foundations is one of the reasons why I buy them. It reminds me of sun cream and I think the scent is so clean and fresh. It has SPF 20 which I haven't been able to review since it's currently January but it's always a positive when they have a high factor and it's better to be protected just in case.

This is the third Rimmel foundation that I have (I also have their Wake Me Up as well as their previously mentioned Match Perfection) and the only criticism I have is that the shades vary. I always buy Ivory as I'm naturally pale, especially at this time of year, but the 3 are all quite different.

The coverage is good; it's advertised as Medium which I would agree with and it's very light and not cakey. I love the natural look and this product covers perfectly and gives you a bit of colour without looking too obvious.
