For My Nanna x

The last two weeks have been the hardest of my life. On Monday 20th October, my Nanna sadly passed away following a short illness. She was 91 and one of the most important people in my life. She had lived through so much and was an incredibly brave lady. I've been home as much as I can during this tough time but living away at uni has made the whole thing so much harder. Her funeral was last Monday and I'm still grieving; I don't think it will ever sink in that she's gone. I will miss her every day and I'm trying to be strong because I know that's what she would want but it's a very difficult time for me at the moment.

I think the reason I'm posting this is because I find it easier to write down how I feel. It's almost therapeutic to share things about her with people who were never lucky enough to experience them first hand. I also want to post the poem that was read at her funeral because it was so lovely and I want to be able to look back on it and remember the words.

Remember that life is short and the people you love could be taken from you at any time. Always spread love x
